Facebook Beta for Windows Phone 8 gets a minor update, gets bug fixes and improvements

Microsoft’s official Facebook app (Beta) for Windows Phone 8 just received a new update today. In this update, which is rather minor, bugs have been squashed and various performance improvements were made.

If you enjoy testing out the newest features before they are rolled out to the non-Beta version of the Facebook app, then you will enjoy giving this Beta app a spin. This update, which bumps the version number to 5.2.0.6, brings forth bugs fixes and improvements. No other details were mentioned as Microsoft did not provide a change log.

The Facebook Beta app previously received a big update, adding a redesigned Live tile, faster and more reliable notifications, messaging improvements, performance improvements and more.

You can download the Facebook Beta app via the link below and have it run alongside the non-Beta app. The Beta app gets the newest fixes and features first, before it rolls out to the non-Beta app. Let us know if you notice any improvements or new features in the comment section below.
