EA Games reveals Titanfall 2’s road ahead, with new maps, a new Titan, and more

Titanfall 2 on Xbox One

Titanfall 2 is one of the best shooters to have come out in a very, very long time. Tragically buried underneath the new Battlefield and Call of Duty games in 2016, it’s only now starting to really ramp up in popularity, as a result of some good old-fashioned word of mouth. Thankfully for the late adopters, the game is still getting supported with some awesome new content.

EA offered us a look at what’s to come, just between April and June:

  • 2 more general multiplayer maps
  • 2 more Live Fire Maps
  • A new Titan
  • Two more purchasable Prime Titans: Ronin and Tone.

Cool stuff, right? What’s even better is that they’re all going to be coming for free, as per the promise of the devs from the beginning. Also confirmed in the blog post is that they’re currently working on raising the Gen cap to 100, adding in some new executions, and even adding in a new faction. It’s a great time to be a Titanfall 2 player.
