The Dead by Daylight x Alien crossover chapter has gone live as of Tuesday bringing another round of exciting (and terrifying) new content. We got a teaser trailer earlier this month giving us a hint of what’s in store. So what’s new with this Alien chapter? Read on to find out.

This new map is described as “a nightmarish playground.”  It is an attempt to blend the worlds of Dead by Daylight and Ridley Scott’s space horror classic. As explained by Associate Artistic Director Chase Toole,

One of my favourite visual devices is how the environment can sometimes reference the Xenomorph’s own design. This can evoke some eerie results, while also emphasizing The Entity’s malevolence by constructing a Map from the terrible memories of a severely traumatized space traveller.

Also new in Dead by Daylight Alien chapter

Also new in the Alien Chapter is the inclusion of a new Survivor: Ellen Ripley, as portrayed by Sigourney Weaver in the film. Additionally, the new Killer is the movie’s titular nemesis— the Xenomorph.

Dead by Daylight is available on various platforms including Windows PC and Xbox One and Series X|S. It features cross play, and is available with Xbox Game Pass.
