Much consternation swept the Windows phone world when HERE removed their apps from the Store. The reason why they disappeared was never officially disclosed, but whatever it was, they’re starting to show back up.
So far, the apps aren’t actually available for download, and they’re a mixed bag in general. HERE Maps only shows up as a PC listing, while HERE Drive+ and HERE Transit are in the Windows 10 Mobile store but tagged with the unfortunate disclaimer “This app is not compatible with this device.”
We’ll keep any eye out for official releases, and let you know when they’re available. But it’s better to see them show up at all than remain in app limbo.
