The official WeChat app has updated to version 1.2.0 for Windows 10 PCs. No release notes have been published for the update but the logging in via a QR code has been noticeably improved and is a lot faster than before and the UI appears to have also been improved with quicker loading times. The previous PC update brought @ mentions in chats, message forwards, the ability to save messages as drafts, and a fix which prevented users from being logged out after closing the app.
While the WeChat app is a Universal Windows Platform app, the mobile version on Windows phones remains separate and has not been updated today.
