Bing Maps Spooky Map

Bing Maps seems to have been inspired by Google Maps’ habit of releasing visual variations of their rival maps service for special occasions and has launched a new Spooky theme for their new web version of Bing Maps just a few days before Halloween.
This special theme can be activated via the map style picker in the top right corner in the new Bing Maps for the U.S.A., Canada and the U.K. which makes sense as these three regions have a habit of celebrating Halloween a great deal more than the rest of the world. The Spooky theme alters the color scheme of the map to predominantly feature black, purple, and orange, and also changes several icons to bats, skeletons, and jack-o-lanterns.
Bing Maps has also curated three lists featuring the most haunted places in the U.S.A., Canada and the U.K. as part of the Halloween season which is actually pretty convenient for those looking for an interesting road trip and an extra scary way to spend the 31st of October.
