Car2Go launching Windows Phone app and requires beta testers

Despite withdrawing completely from Birmingham and London in 2014, the rental car company, Car2Go, continues to find success in other European cities with its convenient app and membership car rental system. Relying on iOS and Android smartphones until now, the company has announced plans to launch an official app on Windows Phone later this summer and is currently after device owners to participate in beta testing before the official launch.

Interested users are asked to send an email to “[email protected]” with the subject line, “ANMELDEN Windows Phone Beta-Tester” and their full name and Windows Phone email address in the body of the email. Soon after receiving the application, Car2Go will send login information to the beta app from where testers can upload screenshots and feedback for viewing by the developers. All aspects of the beta testing will be done in English.

Are you a Car2Go user and are you interested in participating in this Windows Phone app beta testing? Let others know what you think about Car2Go in the comments below.
