Call of Duty and others in this week's Deals with Gold and Spotlight Sales

This week’s Deals with Gold and Spotlight Sales have just been announced for the week of April 21st through 26th and they’re bound to make Call of Duty fans happy. That is, as long as they haven’t actually bought a Call of Duty game in the past year or so.

Xbox 360 owners are given a 60% discount on Call of Duty: Ghosts, a 66% discount on Call of Duty: Black Ops II, and a 50% discount on Call of Duty 3.

Xbox One owners also get a 60% discount on Call of Duty: Ghosts and 40% off the special Call of Duty: Ghosts Hardened Edition which comes packed with a Season Pass featuring four new map packs and other multiplayer content such as exclusive player cards and backgrounds. Xbox One owners are also offered a 10% discount on the old school twin-stick shooter, We Are Doomed, and 40% off the visually stunning 2D platformer, Never Alone (Kisima Ingitchuna).

Deals with Gold and Spotlight Sales are only available to those with Xbox Live Gold, a premium membership which offers gamers special discounts on Xbox 360 and Xbox One video games on a weekly basis in addition to completely free games (called Games with Gold) every month. Membership is relatively cheap across regions and downloading just one of the free games or buying one of the discounted ones more than pays for the cost of membership.

Note: The Xbox One Call of Duty: Ghosts discount is also available for free/Silver Xbox One owners and the We Are Doomed sale ends on April 23rd as opposed to the 26th like all the other games.

This month’s free Games with Gold games for Xbox Live Gold subscribers include Child of Light, Gears of War: Judgment, Terraria and last year’s Assassin’s Creed game, Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag among others.

Are you an Xbox Live Gold member? What do you think of the selection of free and discounted games? Any games you’d like to see offered in the future? Let us know in the comments!
