Buy a Nokia Lumia 2520, get a Lumia 928 for free

Nokia outed its Lumia 2520 tablet, a direct competitor to Surface, on November 22nd, coinciding with the Xbox One launch. US buyers can grab the tablet directly though Verizon, or get an off-contract version straight from the Microsoft Store. However, if you go through the wireless carrier, you can get a good deal right now – a free Lumia 928.

A new 30-second TV spot features a dad describing the great deal he found, as his two children proceed to use the devices in the background. He gushes about how his son loves the new Nokia Lumia 2520 for playing games, while his daughter received the free Lumia 928 and is having a blast with “the best lowlight smartphone camera this side of the North Pole”. The small print at the end reveals that the phone deal involves a mail-in rebate.

There is no mention of how long this deal will last, so if you’re interested then you may want to act quickly. The Nokia tablet, according to recent testing, has a better screen than Surface 2, and the camera on the Lumia 928 is truly very good. You can also check out the video below.
