Day One of Build 2016 was very exciting. Amongst other smaller stories, Microsoft announced a Windows 10 anniversary update, new machine intelligence, and new Xbox developer opportunities. That now done, we’re once again live at the event for Day Two, and once again feeding you the latest news live.
At the event, Microsoft has announced that 85% of Fortune 500 use Azure over 30 unique Azure regions (more than Google and Amazon Web Services combined). In addition, the company also claims that 2 trillion messages per week have been processed by Azure Iot. They also revealed that there are is also 1.4 million SQL databses in Azure and 120 K new Azure customers per month. In total, 5 million organiztions have been using Azure, with 4 million developers registered with Visual Studio Team services.
