Just shy of a year ago, Bank of America, along with Chase Bank, both independently but concurrently dropped support for their respective Windows Phone apps, leaving Windows Phone users with only a mobile website for their banking needs. Since then, although Bank of America announced that it was moving from Windows 7 to Windows 10, “looking to adopt as early as we can”, until today there hasn’t been any news on the mobile app front.
That has changed via a tweet from the Bank of America Help Twitter account:
@colega55 We heard your feedback and are working to develop a Windows 10 mobile banking app. Stay tuned for updates. ^js

We’ve seen a flurry of announcements of Windows 10 Universal Windows apps on the way, and it’s good to see Bank of America getting back on board.
