Asphalt 8: Airborne for Windows and Windows Phone picks up an update; introduces new cars, multiplayer events and more

Asphalt 8: Airborne

Asphalt 8: Airborne is one of the most popular racing games, not just for Android and iOS, but also for Windows Phone as well. The game allows racing fans to drive their dream cars in exotic locations around the globe, unlock more vehicle as they progress and much more. Recently, the game picked up an update, bumping it to version 1.6.0.8, and introduces a handful of new features and enhancements. 

The latest update introduces a new track, allowing you to race in San Diego Harbor. Additionally, there are five new cars in the game, including the Koenigsegg One: 1, Mazda Furai, Maserati MC12, Savage Rivale GTR and Peugeot Onyx, which will come out for gamers over the next few weeks. As for those who can spend money on in-app purchases, there are four new car collections as well

Here’s a complete change log for the latest update:

  • Discover the high-speed heat of San Diego Harbor. Take off from an aircraft carrier and dodge helicopters while taking in the sights!
  • 5 new cars to master: The Koenigsegg One: 1, Mazda Furai, Maserati MC12, Savage Rivale GTR and Peugeot Onyx. Look for each one coming out over the weeks to come!
  • Multiplayer Events: Race head-to-head for the ultimate rewards!
  • 4 new car collections. Time to stock your garage and get your rewards!

If you’re addicted to Asphalt 8, head over to the Windows Phone store and grab the new update. It’s available as a free download, but you may be asked for in-app purchases if you want to unlock cars, and other items.
