Microsoft has released a new update to its Arrow Launcher for Android phones, bumping the app to version 2.2.0.25622. If you’re not familiar with it, Arrow Launcher is a Microsoft Garage Project that aims to provide a streamlined Android app launcher that learns what you use most on your device and makes it easier to get to it. Until now, the launcher used to automatically arrange your apps on your Android home screen based on your usage, but the new version will finally allow you to truly customize your home screen just like you can do with standard Android launchers.
Here is the full changelog:
1) Fully customizable home page. You asked, we listened. 100% freedom to place the apps and widgets that you want on your “Apps” page.
2) “Double tap screen to lock” feature is back.
3) Collage feature. In “Recent” page, hold down on any of your photos at the top to HIDE, ANNOTATE, or SHARE.
4) Live wallpaper support.
A few weeks ago, Arrow Launcher received Office 365 integration, extended badge support and more, and it’s great to see that Microsoft’s fresh take on the Android launcher is iterating fast.
