ARK: Survival Evolved updated on Xbox One with new content and performance improvements

If you’ve been playing ARK: Survival Evolved on your Xbox One, then you’re in for a treat. The dino-survival game is receiving a patch that will both add some performance enhancements and a fair bit of new content.

The new update weighs in at around 11GB and adds a range of new content and changes that have already been revealed for the PC version.

The game itself should go live in the the next hour, the Studio Wildcard team have confirmed they only have a couple of servers to go before completion.

The Xbox Version 738 patch notes have been released by the development team, adding one or two Microsoft-specific updates not featured on PC

This includes:

  • Dedicated Server Save-Backups
  • Memory saving & cpu performance increase approximately 5%

Players might have to jump through some hoops to install the upgrade, such as moving their bases to accommodate the upcoming Redwood Forest and Snow biome extension.
