Until last year, we only had one choice when it comes to Windows Phone devices: Nokia Lumia. However, things have changed now, and there are a lot of Windows Phone handsets to choose from if you’re looking for an entry-level Windows Phone handset. Nokia Lumia 530/630/635 might be the preferred ones, but there are devices which offers better specifications with an affordable price tag.
Last month, the French-based company Archos announced the 40 Cesium handset, which will hit the retail shelves in Italy soon with a €99 price tag — that’s pretty cheap considering the internals it has to offer which are similar to the Lumia 530. Here’s a summary of what the device has to offer:
- 4-inch 800 x 480 pixels display
- Quad-Core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 200 processor
- 512 MB of RAM
- 4 GB of storage (expandable)
- 5 megapixel rear camera
- Removable body in the colors blue, black and yellow
- Dual SIM
- 1950 mAh battery
- 126 mm x 84 mm x 10.5 mm
The handset doesn’t have a lot to offer, but what more can you expect from a handset with a €99 price tag?
