AppRaisin gets comments, transparent Live Tile and full interaction in App News history – onmsft.com

AppRaisin is a community-based app that helps determine which new Windows apps and games deserve to be noticed. Whether it’s Windows 10 or Windows 10 Mobile, AppRaisin keeps you informed on the latest app news and updates. AppRaisin allows anyone in the community to post news about the latest and greatest Windows Store apps and games and the AppRaisin community votes on which app is the cream of the crop.

AppRaisin received a new update recently, bringing it to version 1.5.1, with the most-often requested features and improvements. Here is the full changelog:

New Features

  • News articles just got comments! Comments could be raised and sorted by date or popularity. Spam or inappropriate comments could be reported by community.
  • Live Tile became transparent.
  • In “App Info” Form users can click on any older news and get full information as well as Raise and Share directly from “App Info”

New Improvements:

  • If unfinished news article is left as a draft in “Add News” form, it’s being indicated next to “Add News” button in menu
  • Few bug fixes, UI tweaks and under the hood improvements to make you feel better
