This app brings the Nokia X UI on top of any Lumia smartphone

Nokia unveiled its latest Android offering in the form of its Nokia X line just recently. These devices run Android as its operating system, but still has touches from Windows Phone with its tile based home screen and other UI/UX features. If you’re one of those few users who actually like the Nokia X user interface and want to try it on your Windows Phone handset, take a look at “Nokia X preview” app.

The app brings the Nokia X UI on top of any Windows Phone device. We tested it on a few devices and it does work as advertised. However, it does not offer the best possible experience on the device, and is actually a little slow. Not only is it slow, it’s a little buggy too, but at least it serves it purpose, that is, let users get the taste of how the Nokia X UI works.

Head over to the Windows Phone Store and grab the app for free. Also let us know about your reviews regarding the “Nokia X preview” app. Do you want to give it a try or you’re happy with the current look of Windows Phone OS?
