AccuWeather app for Windows 8 updated with stability and localization improvements

AccuWeather app for Windows 8

For those of you who who use the AccuWeather app on Windows 8 or Windows RT, there is an update available for you via the Windows Store. The update addresses stability, localization issues, and bug fixes. The app is free and the update is available now.

“AccuWeather has the Superior Accuracy, custom lifestyle forecasts and weather animations you love! It is fun-to-use, reliable and will make all the difference in your day. The app is available worldwide in 27 languages and we designed it with you in mind because so many decisions are made based on the weather. You get a quick look at current weather conditions for the next 72 hours with an easy swipe to a calendar view of the forecasted conditions for each of the next 25 days,” the app description reads.

So what’s new in this update? AccuWeather for Windows 8 now has improved error handling. Aside from that, there are now stability improvements that have been added to the app, along with localization improvements including date and time corrections.
