Citrix systems has announced that it will be rolling out two new ways to virtualize and run Windows 10, and apps, on Azure. The announcement was made at the Citrix Summit 2017, and marks several new ways to help its customers migrate to the cloud.
According to Mary Joe Foley at ZDnet, Citrix customers who are seeking to run virtual Windows 10 desktops will be able to use Citrix’s XenDesktop Essentials, and those who want to remotely deliver business apps from Azure, will have the option of using XenApp Essentials. The XenApp Essentials is also reportedly the replacement to Microsoft Azure RemoteApp, which will be phased out very soon. Pricing on the products, however, have yet to become available, and will emerge once the products hit the market.
