Microsoft adds Events to Solitaire Collection for Windows 10

The most recent update for Microsoft Solitaire Collection added a new Event system in the game just in case Solitaire seemed a little too solitaire. Last night marked the beginning of Events running for 24 hours each until next Monday. Afterward, they will be restricted to three times per week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Microsoft seemed to have fun announcing the first event. They even made a series of humorous trailers to commemorate the new feature.

The app’s update draws players to compete globally with their friends during limited time events for rewards. In this case, rewards are ‘bracelets’ that mark achievements for points and completed challenges.

Today’s “Launch Week” event only has about fifteen hours left to compete for points and achievements that can proudly be displayed on your Xbox Live account. Microsoft Solitaire Collection is free on the Windows Store, so be sure to check it out by downloading from the link below.
