As the Windows 10 Insider Build 14965 was pushed to the Slow Ring on PCs and mobiles last week, Microsoft has announced today the release of the Windows 10 SDK Preview Build 14965. As expected, developers are invited to try this latest Preview SDK on test machines running Windows 10 Insider build 14965 or higher. “The Preview SDK is a pre-release and cannot be used in a production environment,” adds Microsoft.

This new Preview SDK brings some bug fixes as well as some API updates and additions, and here are the new features that Microsoft listed today (check the full blog post for the complete changelog):

  • This Windows SDK includes updates and additions to the Windows namespace.
  • Debugging Tools for Windows has been updated with a few new features, including JavaScript scripting and extensibility. See this blog post for more information.

You can download this Preview SDK build from the developer section on the Windows Insider website. Lastly, be aware that you will need to install Visual Studio 2017 Release Candidate to use this SDK and you can get it from the Visual Studio website.
