In a very focused presentation today headlined by Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, the company presented its new cross-application collaboration software, Microsoft Teams. Leading up to today’s New York event, Microsoft’s would-be Slack competitor has been leaked and discussed for several months, but as Skype Teams.
However, recently the software received a last-minute rebranding to Microsoft Teams.
