The cross-promotion network for Windows Phone and Windows Store apps AdDuplex has announced two new free Windows 10 apps today. AdDuplex CEO Alan Mendelevich explained in a blog post that both apps are actually internal tools that the company wanted to share to the public. Over time, more of these tools will be released on the AxGarage website.
The two universal apps use a freemium model, with a one-time in-app purchase to remove ads and unlock more features. The first one is Random Tool, which Mendelevich describes as “your Swiss army knife for all things random.” Here is the official description:
Random Tool is the ultimate randomizer for whenever you need to make a choice of any kind. Designed with ease of use and simplicity in mind, Random Tool allows you to make life choices, shuffle lists, select winners and more. Additionally it features text-to-speech functionality to make it even more useful in a group setting.
The second one is One Tap Reminders, and as its name suggests it it’s a straightforward app to create reminders “faster than you can ask Cortana to do it” according to Mendelevich. The official description notes:
One Tap Reminders lets you create and use reminders very easily and quickly. It allows you to pin reminders to your Start screen and run them with a single tap. Don’t miss those important events ever again!
During our limited testing, we found that both apps are well made and look to be good additions to the Windows Store. We invite you to give these apps a try and to let us know what you think about them by dropping us a comment below.
