Just two weeks after unveiling its new Alienware gaming laptops at PAX West 2016, Dell has introduced a new portfolio of XPS and Inspiron laptops that ship with the Windows 10 Anniversary Update installed. The company’s new XPS 13 notebook comes with a nearly borderless screen that will make new Windows 10 capabilities really shine while the affordable Inspiron 5000 models continue to deliver good value in a thinner and colorful design.
The XPS 13 laptop
The company’s XPS 13 notebook features the new 7th Generation Intel Core processors, a borderless “InfinityEdge” display (available in Full HD or Quad HD) in a nice design that combines carbon fiber and aluminum. While the notebook measures 15mm at its thickest point, Dell claims that the Full HD model delivers up to 22 hours of battery life which is seems quite unprecedented for an ultrabook.

The Inspiron 15 & 17 5000 laptops
The consumer-focused Inspiron 5000 notebooks are available in 15-inch and 17-inch versions with an optional Full HD diplay (an optional touch screen is also available for the 15-inch model). Both laptops feature a slimmer design and will be available in broad selection of colors including Midnight Blue and Cosmic Purple.

The new laptops will be available in the US starting October 4. The Dell Inspiron 13 will be priced at $799 USD while the Inspiron 15 and 17 5000 will be available at $549.99 USD.
