The Anniversary Update has come and gone, and we’re all getting used to the fancy new bells and whistles that it brought to our PC’s. For the Insiders among us who like to get in on the bleeding edge of Windows features, however, the Insider team has already pushed out a new build for you to sink your teeth into – build 14901. The update isn’t huge, but the Insider team needs to do some testing and they’re counting on the Insiders to back them up.
Of course, there are some issues that come with the build that Microsoft knows about. Here’s what problems you can expect to run into when you load up the latest Insider build:
- Support for kernel debugging over 1394 has been removed, but will be available in an upcoming kit release. A work-around will be posted to the Debugging Tools for Windows Blog shortly.
- Adobe Acrobat Reader crashes when you try to launch it.
If these are deal breakers for you, hold off on downloading the build. If not, feel free to download it and try and find some other bugs to report.
