MSI has announced a new set of gaming laptops at the Computex 2019 event, showing off the GT76 Titan as well as the GE65 raider (seen above). Both devices offer more than enough in terms of specifications to satisfy just about any hardcore gamer.
The GT76 Titan is probably the most interesting given its “desktop-level performance” according to the Windows Blog, as well as upgradable internals should more storage or memory be needed. It comes with a Intel Core i9 processor which has been overclocked to 5 GHz among each of its eight cores, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 graphics card, plus support for Wi-Fi 6 and 2.5 GHz LAN. These top-of-the line specs are all possible thanks to the company’s Cooler Boost Titan system which increases the internal airflow by 2.25 times. Plus, it also has a 17.3-inch 144 Hz refresh-rate display to please graphics enthusiasts.
The GE65 Raider also comes with the Core i9 processor, RTX 2080 graphics, and Wi-Fi 6 like its cousin, however this model comes with a 240 Hz display for even more life-like visuals. Aesthetically, the design has been “inspired by a dragon theme,” which improves ventilation and prevents hot air recirculation.
No release date or pricing details were released for either devices, but given high specifications among them, they should at least cost close to $3,000 if not more.
