Bing has been on a tear recently, successfully predicting the results in all sorts of sporting events, awards, and other timely activities. According to the Bing blog, Bing Predicts is now turning its sights on the Fall 2015 TV season, among other entertainment options, predicting which shows will be the most popular amongst finicky TV views.
According to Bing Predicts, the 10 most popular shows will be:

  1. The Walking Dead
  2. The Big Bang Theory
  3. Empire
  4. NCIS
  5. Dancing with the Stars
  6. Grey’s Anatomy
  7. The Flash
  8. Gotham
  9. Supergirl
  10. The Voice

Go here to see all 100 shows in a fancy carousel. Bing Predicts uses a variety of data to make its prognostications, including the popularity of Bing search terms and historical data.

In addition, Bing Predicts is providing some specific predictions on two popular shows, Dancing with the Stars and The Voice. If you follow the former, then Bing has some idea of who will stay and who will go.

Bing doesn’t limit itself to network TV, either. A quick search on “new movies on Netflix” provides a nifty carousel filtered by genre and release date, providing an easy way to locate the most pertinent streaming content.

Finally, if you’re looking for something live and in person, Bing might help there as well. Search “events near me” for another interactive carousel providing up-to-date information on what artists are performing somewhere near you. Additional information on venues and artists are but a click away.
Information on current local movies is also just a search away on Bing mobile.

So, in short, head over the Bing if you want to check out the latest in TV, online, and local entertainment.
