For those of you who are using Microsoft’s Office 2010, there is finally some good news. Microsoft is apparently sending out beta invites to select testers for Office 2010 SP2 and SharePoint 2010 SP2. Service Pack 1 for Office 2010 was released nearly a year and a half ago.
Not much is known about Service Pack 2, but we would imagine it will contain unreleased fixes made especially for the service pack, as well as previously released fixes, to improve stability, performance, and security. We will keep you updated on what exactly this service pack will contain as details are revealed.
