Video shows off speedy Lumia Camera app with HDR features

Microsoft’s Lumia Camera app has always been known for its great photo taking capability, while offering several customization features. But it has also been constantly criticized by users for its not up to par operations speed. The good news is that the company is all set to fix that glitch with a new Lumia Camera app. The app, which is pegged to arrive on Denim firmware-powered Lumia handsets soon, comes with impressive speed improvements and new HDR capture mode, as seen in a video.

The Denim update is the latest firmware released for the Lumia-powered handsets. Several handsets including the Lumia 830, 730, and 535 come with the Denim update pre-installed. The update is expected to rollout to other Windows Phone 8.1-powered Lumia handsets soon.

In addition to providing boot and in-app speed improvements, the Lumia Camera app has also been demonstrated to show off a new HDR mode, a feature that has been requested for months.

Thanks Saket for the tip!
