In an image snafu, Microsoft’s Amazon Germany page inexplicably uses images of stuffed animals to sell their Microsoft System Center Datacenter Editions. The Datacenters normally retail for around $14,000, so it may be a joke or a simple image mix-up, but the Amazon pages for both listings are still live (teddy bear and cuddly turtle).
Microsoft is blaming an “Amazon error,” but it’s funny that no changes have been made to the Amazon listings yet. Wall Street Journal editor Amir Mizroch first spotted the mistake and pointed it out on Twitter:
Why is Microsoft selling a €12, 628 ($13, 902) fluffy teddy bear on Amazon?https://t.co/QfSg0mVGhK pic.twitter.com/FvBCqMMs1h

Just seems like a joke to keep the Amazon Germany listings up, or maybe Microsoft is venturing into a new market: elegant teddy bears that can handle all of your company datacenter needs in a cuddly package. Either way, we find it rather hysterical to see a $14,000 teddy bear or turtle regardless of whether Microsoft or Amazon is at fault.
