Gamers on Xbox Series S and Series X consoles can now try out the Street Fighter 6 demo. The playable demo was released on PlayStation 4/5 consoles last week following the Street Fighter 6 Showcase, which you can view above.
The newest installment of Capcom’s iconic fighting game series, Street Fighter 6 looks to breathe new life into not only the franchise but the genre as a whole, with an innovative new campaign mode known as “World Tour.” Also new in Street Fighter 6 is the Drive Gauge, which rewards players for getting creative with their technique. Lastly, a new real-time commentary system makes its series debut here offering both play-by-play and color commentary.
Street Fighter 6 will launch with 18 playable characters including mainstays like Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Cammy as well as a few newcomers. And players will be able to create their own custom fighter that can be used outside of World Tour mode. More characters will be added to the game’s roster in the form of DLC.
Street Fighter 6 releases on June 2. In the meantime you can grab the demo from the Xbox Store.
