It’s hard to believe it has been almost a year already since FromSoftware’s Elden Ring took the gaming world by storm. Yet here we are just a few weeks from the one-year anniversary of the open-world soulslike’s launch. And to celebrate the occasion, Bandai Namco will be livestreaming an anniversary celebration event on Twitch.
The event will be held at the Red Bull Gaming Sphere in Stockholm, Sweden on February 25th, beginning 10am ET. The live show will apparently feature giveaways and contests, cosplay, a pub quiz and more. Twitch streamers Elajjaz and MissMikkaa will square off in a PvP match.

Some are speculating that some new DLC might be announced at the event, but Bandai Namco has not hinted anything as of yet.
Elden Ring was almost undisputedly the biggest title of 2022, and took home the lion’s share of “game of the year” accolades., including at the 2022 Game Awards. The critical acclaim was matched by commercial success, as the game sold over 12 million copies in its first few weeks.
