Halo was reportedly the no.1 show on Paramount Plus in 2022. This news may come as a bit of a surprise given the mixed critical reception the show has received following its release back in March last year.
That launch did, however, become the most-watched series premiere ever for Paramount Plus. Halo was picked up for a second season even before the premiere, and season 2 production got underway back in September.
Halo beat out other big Paramount Plus shows like 1883 to grab the platform’s top spot for 2022, according to a Twitter post from The Game Awards.
HALO: The Series was the #1 show on @paramountplus last year, eclipsing Yellowstone (only available outside the US) and 1883.
Season 2 of Halo is now in production.

No release date for season 2 has been announced as of yet, but we’ll keep you posted if and when any announcement comes.
