Microsoft is in talks to invest in Indian gaming platform Zupee

A New Delhi-based startup, Zupee, is reportedly in talks with Microsoft to have the latter invest in the gaming platform. Whilst there’s no agreement as yet, an investment could mean Zupee using Microsoft’s Azure cloud service. Zupee has over 70 million players and is a cloud-based, play-to-earn casual gaming platform that offers a variety of casual board games.

Brazil latest country to approve Microsoft’s Activision Blizzard acquisition

The latest approval of Microsoft’s Activision Blizzard acquisition has come from Brazil, with the deal being approved with no restrictions. This makes Brazil the second country to approve the deal, following in the foot steps of Saudi Arabia.

UK regulatory body sets March 2023 deadline for Activision Blizzard deal verdict

Whilst Brazil and Saudi Arabia approved Microsoft’s Activision Blizzard acquisition with little fanfare, the UK’s CMA is conducting a more in-depth investigation, and has set a deadline of March 2023 for its decision.

Microsoft officially launches Cloud Partner Program
