Building upon this premise, Microsoft just announced that they are yet again unpacking a couple of nifty features to Microsoft To Do on Android, among them the rich text editor for notes, widget customizations, and auto-suggestions for lists that will help you customize Microsoft To Do based on your preferences.
While the To Do widget is basically on your home screen to help you keep tabs on essential information, there is much more that you can do with it. With the new widget customizations, users will have the capability to adjust the widget’s transparency as well as the font size. You can also choose to display important details such as due dates, reminders, and recurrence.
The Rich text editor has also made it to Microsoft To Do on Android which means that you can include headings, subheadings, links, and numbered/bulleted lists as part of the body of your text. What’s more, you also get more text formatting options like highlighting text in bold, italics, and underlining. Here’s a glimpse.
Microsoft To Do on Android now comes with intelligent suggestions which make it easier for the user to come up with lists. “Our algorithm will make intelligent suggestions based on the historical items you have added to the list”. However, the feature is turned on by default for grocery lists but off for the rest of the lists. Head on over to the settings option to turn on the feature for the rest of the lists.
And finally, as a bonus, the platform is getting a cool special limited edition She Hulk theme on top of the usual color and photo themes.
The limited edition theme is available on Android and across other endpoints such as iOS and Windows as well.
