Windows 11 might be all the rage these days, but Windows 10 is still in support and will be around 2025. That said, Microsoft has provided a Windows 10 update, now saying that Windows 10 version 21H2 (the latest version of Windows 10) is now available for everyone.
The news comes via an update to the Windows 10 Health Dashboard. This page now has a message letting users know that Windows 10, version 21H2 is designated for broad deployment. What this means is that all Windows 10 users should be seeing 21H2 in Windows Update, if they haven’t already downloaded it.
The Windows 10 21H2 update first hit the scene back in November of 2021. It doesn’t deliver any major new features and rather has features designed for IT Pros and businesses. The list includes things like GPU compute support for the Windows Subsystem for Linux, Wi-Fi WPA3-Personal H2E support, and cloud trust support in Windows Hello for Business. This version of Windows will be supported by Microsoft through June 2023. After that, an update to the Windows 10 Version 22H2 update will be necessary, which will be coming later this year.
