Topic 1: Windows 11 to launch October 5

The show started with a look at the week’s Windows 11 news. This segment was all about the announcement of the launch of Windows 11 on October 5. We talked about when the operating system will hit PCs, who will get it first, last, and in between. We also went into the metrics and advice for those who can’t run the operating system.

Topic 2: Microsoft breaks Windows 11, and then fixes it

Second on the show was a look at a bug that broke Windows 11. Windows Insiders reported the bug, and then Microsoft issued a fix. We got into the full details of the bug, the story around it, and more. We even talked about our own experience with it.

Topic 3: Windows Insider unsupported hardware controversy 

Third, on the show, we looked at some controversy in the Windows Insider program. Microsoft is apparently forcing Windows Insiders on the Dev channel with unsupported hardware to stop testing Windows 11. We went through our take on the situation and our own advice for you if you’re impacted.

Topic 4: Surface event on September 22

Our final main topic involves some Surface news. We went through and looked at rumors about Microsoft’s latest Surface event set for September 22. From Surface Duo 2, to Surface Laptop Pro, we covered all the rumors and our expectations for what’ll happen come event day.
