New Microsoft Edge Dev build arrives with no major changes

Microsoft has just released a new build to the Edge Dev Channel. However, there aren’t any major changes to note. The company opted not to post any changelogs this week, but the version number did get bumped up to 92.0.873.1.

Instead of publishing a new changelog, Microsoft points to everything from last week’s release. As a reminder, there still weren’t any major features added in that release, either. The only new thing was support for a management policy from Chromium to control if Shared Array Buffer Unrestricted Access is Allowed. Also new was support for a management policy from Chromium to control if Headless Mode is Enabled.

We invite you to check our post from last week for more information. We covered the entire changelog there. Just so you know, last week’s build was the first from Edge Dev version 92, so you can expect smaller releases going forward. We hope that a big release comes soon.

Until then, you might want to check out the Canary branch, which usually has new features hidden behind flags. You also might want to check out Edge Beta on Linux, as well as on iOS.
