Microsoft has released a new set of firmware updates for its Surface Laptop 3 devices. The Surface Laptop 3 comes in Intel and AMD-based variants, but only the models with Intel processors are getting updates for now.
For the owners of a Surface Laptop 3, this batch aims to address some stability and reliability issues users may have been experiencing until now. You can see the full changelog below:

- Surface Hid Mini Driver – Human Interface Devices: 3.31.139.0 Improves system stability and addresses system bugcheck.
- Surface Integration Service Device – System devices: 6.105.139.0 Improves integration between system services and addresses system bugcheck.
- Surface ME – Firmware: 13.0.1594.2 Addresses security updates and improves system stability.
- Surface UEFI – Firmware: 9.101.140.0 Addresses security updates and improves system stability.
As always, these firmware updates are being rolled out in waves to the Intel-powered variant of the Surface Laptop 3, which means that you might need to wait a couple of days to receive them. In case you missed it, the company also released new firmware updates for the Surface Pro 7+ models earlier this week, and it fixed a number of display and performance issues with that particular device.
