The Haunted Shores update is now live for all Sea of Thieves players on Xbox One, Windows 10, and Steam.
This new update, as you may have guessed, brings ghost ships to the open-world pirate game which can attack, be attacked, and grant rare items once defeated. The spectral effects look genuinely impressive. Check them out in the video below.
In addition to ghost ships, this update also revamps the emote/communication wheel somewhat with better support for shanties and several new pets have also been added.
Sea of Thieves is a first-party video game by Microsoft and is a console exclusive to the Xbox One. The game recently became available on Steam earlier this month and it’s frequently one of the most-streamed titles on Mixer.
