Microsoft’s SwiftKey Keyboard recently rebranded as Microsoft SwiftKey Keyboard on Android and that change has now come to Apple’s iOS devices as well with today’s update.
In addition to the subtle rebranding, this update also adds a new one-handed mode, which is intended to make typing with one hand easier, and also adds support for a whopping 400 new languages.
Here’s the full release notes:
- SwiftKey is now Microsoft SwiftKey. Still the same intelligent keyboard you know and love
- In this release we’ve introduced one-handed mode. This is a reduced-width keyboard, designed for one handed typing. Try it out for yourself by long-pressing on the emoji key.
- We’ve added 400 new languages, including Ukranian. This means you can now type in over 600 languages.
