Microsoft has just announced the release of a new build for Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring, which includes no new features. Indeed, the cumulative update build 19613.005, which follows the release of the build 19613 last week, is “designed to test our servicing pipeline with builds from the Active Development Branch in the Fast ring,” the Windows Insider team said today.

In case you missed it, last week’s preview build 19613 included no new features, though it came with notable fixes for causing taskbar icons to not display properly, and Visual Studio becoming unresponsive with a multiple monitors setup. New builds coming from this development branch have yet to bring any new big features, but this should hopefully change soon now that Microsoft is almost done with the Windows 10 May 2020 Update.
This is not the first time that Microsoft releases a cumulative update with no changes, but the Windows Insider team said last week that it was “looking into reports of the update process hanging for extended periods of time when attempting to install a new build.” If you’re experiencing this issue, please notify the team in the Feedback Hub.
