Microsoft’s Intelligent Security Association program will be expanding the number of providers it supports to include additional Microsoft Virus Initiative partners specializing in anti-malware solutions and FIDO 2 partners. Since its introduction in April 2019, Microsoft’s Intelligent Security Association program has added industry names such as Ziften, ThreatConnect, IMPERVA and Checkpoint amongst its 19 security technology provider roster and today’s expansion will further solidify the company’s commitment to protection, detection, and response. As with most things these days, Microsoft is looking to its Azure cloud to power the platform leveraging Microsoft Enterprise.
As of last July 2018, the list stood expanded for the first with to include a total of 24 partners including Contrast Security, Duo Security, Yubico, Trusona, and Fortinet.
Internally, the move to open up to more partners ad already been greeted with oh’s and ha’s last year but Microsoft is said to be opening it up once again as it announced on stage at the company’s partner conference Inspire.
