The base model with the 128GB SSD is currently $799, which represents a $200 discount, while the 256GB model is $999 ($300 off). You’ll need to opt for that more expensive version if you want the optional black finish, which Microsoft introduced for the surface Laptop 2 and Surface Pro 6 last year.
According to AdDuplex’s stats Surface Pro tablets are by far the most popular Surface devices being used, but the Surface Laptop 2 has a slightly bigger screen and will lay much more naturally on your lap. We wish Microsoft added another USB port or replaced the Mini DisplayPort with a more versatile USB-C port, but the Surface Laptop 2 remains a great ultrabook with a premium design and solid specs.
