Avengers: Infinity War is now live in the Microsoft Store and can be purchased in either HD or full UHD resolution.
The option to buy the UHD version will only show up on Xbox One S and X consoles but those who have an OG Xbox One and think they might want to watch the UHD version sometime in the future when they get a 4K Xbox console can buy it via the web version of the store. Buying the UHD version also unlocks the HD version for viewing on non 4K hardware.
Interestingly, while the HD and UHD versions of Avengers: Infinity War are available for American viewers, some regions such as Australia currently only have the SD and HD version. It’s unclear why.
Both digital versions of Avengers: Infinity War come with the director’s commentary, deleted scenes, bloopers, and most other content from the physical disk release.
Once purchased in the Microsoft Store, the digital version of Avengers: Infinity War will be viewable on Windows 10 PCs, Windows phones, and Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles.
