Microsoft late yesterday pushed out new firmware for both the Surface Pro 4 and the Surface Laptop. There is a laundry list of changes with both these firmware updates, but most are designed to improve your system stability and security. In both the case of the Surface Laptop and the Surface Pro 4, these updates should automatically appear under Windows Update. Not everyone will be seeing these updates right away, so if you don’t see it at first, it might be best to wait a while.
The Surface Pro 4 was last updated back in April of 2018 with improvements for touch accuracy and Surface Dial. The Surface Laptop, meanwhile, was last updated back in May for improved docking compatibility.
