Microsoft released yesterday the Windows 10 SDK Preview build 17704, which can be used in conjunction with Windows 10 Insider build 17704 released a week ago. The release notes only mention the usual bug fixes and some minor API changes, as well as support for Microsoft’s modern deployment technology for apps called MSIX.
This new preview SDK is available to download from the official Windows Insider website, and we invite you to check out the full blog post to get all details about changes and known issues.
We probably won’t get a new Redstone 5 build this week since many people at Microsoft probably took some time off for Independence Day. However, Slow Ring Insiders received their first RS5 build earlier this week, so Microsoft is definitely making some progress on the development of the next major Windows 10 update.
