Microsoft Launcher has proven to be pretty popular with standard consumers, and Windows CVP Joe Belfiore announced at Build 2018 today that enterprise customers will also soon be able to get into to the action.
The company says that the Microsoft Launcher app on Android will soon support Enterprise customers via Intune, including their line of business apps, discovery and IT advisement on configuration. Additionally, the Microsoft Launcher app will also support Timeline for cross-device app launching between Windows and mobile phones.
As recent as last week, Microsoft Launcher made its way into Microsoft’s Garage Hall of Fame, which is where the app first got started as Arrow Launcher. Many new features have come to Microsoft Launcher over the past few months, including Cortana integration, custom daily backgrounds, and many UI elements inspired by Fluent Design. It will be interesting to see how enterprises can leverage Microsoft Launcher, so be sure to keep tuned for more in the weeks ahead.
