After a blocking bug posed problems in build 17133, Microsoft followed up this week to push out Windows 10 Insider build 17134 to PC. As noted by Windows Central, the company has now also pushed out that latest Redstone 4 build to Windows Insiders with HoloLens headsets.
This latest HoloLens build will only be available via Windows Update for those who have already have flashed their headsets with the very first Redstone 4 build. That said, there is not much new in the latest release, and it mainly delivers some stability fixes. Have a look below for the full changelog.
- General changes, improvements, and fixes:
- Reliability issues for exclusive apps.
- Interactions while moving slates and blooming.
- Cortana/Skype integration.
- Speech in OOBE stability.
- UWP app reliability with mouse/gamepad integration.
Counting build 17123, this is the third major Redstone 4 build to come to HoloLens headsets. This is some good news for those who own Microsoft’s mixed reality headset, as the last featured update for it came two years ago. Anyway, since build numbers are now lining up across PC and HoloLens, Microsoft is likely finishing up the Redstone 4 update and if all goes well, general users might be getting it soon.
