It is once again that time of year for Minecraft fans to rejoice and come together to celebrate the game. Indeed, Mojang has just announced that Minecon Earth 2018 will be coming up on Saturday, September 29th.
The live streamed event is being called the biggest Minecraft celebration ever, featuring panels, community highlights, and a costume competition. It is promised the show will be around 90 minutes long and packed with “juicy” Minecraft information, including pre-and post-show events.

Minecraft fans are also being invited to submit ideas for panels, and enter for the chance to attend the event in person and win prizes. You can learn more about Minecon 2018 by checking here, and you can catch up with Minecon Earth 2017 by visiting YouTube.
The last Minecon Earth was on November 17th, 2017, marking the first time that Minecon went to an all online event instead of an in-person show. Mojang at the time decided to switch Minecon to an online live stream because the Minecraft community was growing, and not everyone was able to get tickets to attend the show in person. Microsoft, though, held events in its retail stores, and there were also viewing parties set up across the world.
